Regional Director of Clinical Services t o supervise and monitor the implementation of all aspects of the clinical services and programs in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations for Avante facilities in the assigned region. Act as the liaison between the other Regional Directors of Clinical Services and the VP of Clinical for day-to-day operations. Assist with the daily operations of the facility as needed and requested by the Regional Vice President of Operations. Responsible for the guidance and support of the overall policy for all nursing objectives and initiatives. Assist in the review of nursing department processes to ensure compliance with established standards, clinical reimbursement, standardization and training for assigned Avante Nursing facilities.

Essential Job Functions: Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Guide and direct facility Directors of Nursing Services in the implementation, monitoring and validation of clinical services and programs in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations.
- Act as a liaison between the other Regional Directors of Clinical Services and the VP of Clinical to communicate daily activity in the centers.
- Scrub weekly benchmarks and provide summary to the VP of Clinical Services by end of business day Fridays.
- Take clinical call based on “On-Call” hierarchy and report necessary information to the VP of Clinical as required.
- Assist with facilities that need higher level assistance outside of the assigned region as requested by the VP of Clinical Services to include site visits, Mock Survey and regulatory visits etc.
- Assist with the daily operations (business/financial) as requested by the VP of Clinical Services and/or the Regional Vice President of Operations as needed.
- Maintain regulatory compliance related to state statues where assigned for healthcare services. Administration and all clinical aspects related to providing quality healthcare.
- Performs audits and survey education related to regulatory compliance and resident care.
- Complete and submit weekly facility visit reports to Vice President of Clinical Services.
- Assist in the creation and implementation of new protocols and guidelines related to clinical aspects of care within the scope of that state's regulatory compliance.
- Provide on-going in- service education related to new protocols and guidelines for resident care and maintaining regulatory compliance.
- Active participant in orientation for nursing management training
- Active participant in the selection process for new products and services
- Required travel to all facilities assigned on a regular basis
- Performs other duties as assigned
Education / Experience - Requires a BSN or equivalent or an ASN with validated nursing certifications and competencies that prepare an individual to meet the job requirements
- 5-8 years of clinical management experience, preferably in a skilled nursing environment with a solid multi-facility background
- Solid experience in a management role
