Job Summary
The Analyst III, Office of the CIO (OICO) will work close with the Sr. Manager, Office of the CIO and other technology leads to maintain key OCIO functions including (but not limited to) resource management, vendor management, and Financial Analytics. The core objectives are to ensure a consistent, accurate and efficient reporting supported by clear processes.
The expectation of the OCIO is to operate with a balance of recurring tasks and the ability to respond to specific challenges as set forth by the CIO.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Generates monthly financial reports including general ledger reconciliation, and full-year forecast
- Conducts periodic audits of budget items, including budget-to-actual comparisons
- Support budget and reforecasting efforts
- Maintain vendor management processes, including onboarding, termination, payment, and key contacts
- Oversee the maintenance of vendor contracts, and ensure they are current
- Lead financial impact analysis for new contracts, renewals, and amendments for technology vendors
- Responsible for ensuring timely bill pay and submission of invoices
- Serve as a point of escalation for vendor issues, including management of incidents by completing lead root cause analysis and identify long-term fix
- Partner with Accounting to support executive financial and month-end reporting
- Maintain processes to ensure accurate position data including new hires, terminated, and change to active positions
- Drive process improvement, policy development and documentation initiatives that impact job functions
- Perform other duties as assigned by Sr. Manager, OCIO
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years financial or vendor management
- 2+ years in Technology or similar department
Skills/Specialized Knowledge
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Negotiation skills
- Analytical skills to leverage data and propose strategic plans
- Leadership skills to align and implement process with stakeholders
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to complete workloads in a timely manner
- Thorough understanding of budgetary and accounting principles, practices, and policies
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment to meet established deadlines

Physical and Mental Demands
This position will spend long hours sitting and using office equipment and computers. The position may also entail light lifting of supplies and materials occasionally, up to and including 20 pounds in addition to reaching, stooping, standing, and walking. Salary Range
The salary range for this position is: $73,440.00 - $127,296.00, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable employment laws.
