The Colleague Health Services Manager (RN) is responsible for leading the successful development and delivery of the customer focused, clinical programs of Colleague Health Services for the Hartford Region of Hartford HealthCare. The Colleague Health Services Manager provides consultative support and leads others to promote the health and safety of all colleagues. While ensuing regulatory compliance with OSHA Standards, CDC Guidelines, and applicable federal/state guidance for healthcare workers.Responsibilities include but, are not limited to the following:
- Provides direction and oversight for the daily operations of Colleague Health Services.
- Administers and coordinates health promotion programs and illness/injury prevention programs to prevent occupational injury and health problems. Programs include: universal vaccination, respiratory protection, tuberculosis surveillance, blood borne pathogens, hearing conservation and environmental safety.
- Develops, improves and coordinates procedures for pre-employment examinations. Monitors the timely medical clearance for all new colleagues.
- Partners with diverse teams and leaders across the organization on system-wide programs and initiatives
- Monitors and audits health records and documentation to ensure compliance based on OSHA Standards, CDC Guidelines, and applicable federal/state guidancefor healthcare workers.
