Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM
Experience:
• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.
• Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Illinois license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:
BJC policy: Every other weekend required.
RNs only - Clinicians who obtained RN degree outside of the U.S. and do not hold MO/IL/Compact license require extended licensing and compliance timeframe.
No medical marijuana cards accepted.
Start date: 3-4 weeks per compliance tier, biweekly start dates
Ratios: We follow AWHONN guidelines for staffing ratio. It is dependent upon what stage of labor or induction method the patient is on.
Weekend req: Every other weekend
Is on-call req: No
Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs: yes between Belleville and Shiloh
Open to accommodating block schedule: No
Guaranteed Hours:
- 36 hours per week for 3-12s
- 48 hours per week for 4-12s
Special Requirements: LDRP
Scrub Color: Scrubs provided
Patient Age Groups: Neonates, Adolescents, Infants, Adults
Daily Census: 30
Patient Diagnoses: pregnant women and babies. We have a Level IIE nursery so we keep high risk patients 30 weeks and greater, as well as babied needing assisted ventilation
Special Procedures/Unit Details:
- Travelers must have Recovery and Post Partum exp
- LDRP
RTO must be on the submittal
No RTO the first week of an assignment.
Background Policy to be noted prior to submission
Permanent employees at must wait 1 year before returning to any BJC facility as a traveler.
All Standard Travelers (reside outside of a 75 mile radius) can stay for an 18 month period. Must take a 3 month break after 18 months.
7 days maximum time off
2 references from last 2 years (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission
