Experience:
• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• 12 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience is preferred with some in the last 24 months.
• Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a South Dakota license or compact license (required after submission).
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >100 miles from facility to be submitted.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Guaranteed Hours: 36.
Straight nights, every other weekend and if someone wants blocked scheduling, could easily do 6 on 8 off.

Level 2A Nursery – will care for sick babies
Gyn-Surgicals/Mastectomy post-op – preferred experience – if candidate is not comfortable with these, other staff may be able to take

Required Education:
Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing; Registered Nurse (RN) - South Dakota Board of Nursing
Skills required:
EFM interpretation and intervention, adult and neonatal assessment skills
Floating Required:
Med/surg – as helping hands/in the role of a CNA
Could be floated within scope of practice and below
Orientation: (facility and unit)
Per experience-traveler nurse, typically 1 week
Scheduling:
Weekend rotation: every other weekend
Will they be on call If so, what is that schedule LOC per census and LOC rotation
Holiday Expectations: 3 holidays scheduled, 1 on-call, rotating schedule\
Approval of time off 2 gold tickets/year and request off before next schedule is posted\
Scrub Color: Hospital provided scrubs
7 days maximum time off
