Experience:
• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Massachusetts license (required after submission).
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <75 miles from facility will be processed as local.

Additional Details:
Nurses Only - BMC does not have telemetry technicians. Candidates are required to take and pass an advanced Dysrhythmia exam after an offer is extended and before accepting. 3 attempts to pass. Passing score is an 80% or the minimum of the angoff score. Will accept a previously completed exam if it’s within 1 year of start date. Will also take a tele test day 1 of orientation.
Prefer 1 reference from last travel assignment. Supervisor title not accepted.
2 Shift options: 3X12s, 36hr Nights, E/O Weekend, E/O Holiday. OR 4X8s 32hr Nights, E/O Weekend, E/O Holiday.
Req Exp: 2 recent yrs of L&D RN exp and OR circulator experience. CNM exp will not be considered. Must be able to independently read & interpret telemetry strips. Must be able to pass telemetry test Day 1 w/ 85%+.
Experience in high risk obstetrics preferred.
Must be able to circulate and scrub in the OR.
Charge experience preferred. Primary newborn RN experience for transition from delivery.
Preferred: Dysrhythmia/Telemetry interpretation Course
Patient Ratio: follows AWHONN patient ratio guidelines as closely as possible.
7 days maximum time off
2 references from last 2 years (Any reference type) - 1 required for submission
