Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Experience:
• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• 22 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.
• Travel experience is required from any number of months.
• 3 months of experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a California license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:
All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years
Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.
Hard-stop: Labor and post-partum experience is required.
Strong Precepting skills is a plus.
Will allow 4x12 upon request
Orientation: 36 hours
Block Scheduling: No
BLS and ACLS: Must be AHA (Instructor, Provider, or RQI) or “Heart&Stroke” certification from Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation only.
NRP: Current certification issued by an acceptable agency - AAP, AHA or Canadian Paediatric Society (CPS).
Scrubs are provided.
Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year (6 months for CNA’s) of employment total within the last three years within a comparable specialty/setting that they are booked. This can include Charge RNs / Leads.
RTO must be included at time of the submission.
Holidays: Traveler must be willing to work 2 out of the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year
Return Staff Policy: 3 months to return as traveler
5 days maximum time off
2 references from last 2 years (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission
