Lord Chamberlain is a family-owned skilled nursing facility in Stratford, Connecticut with two major units: one with 60 beds, specializing in short-term rehabilitation and a 190-bed unit specializing in long-term care. We are currently hiring a full time Registered Diet Tech. Come join our team!
Purpose of your Position
The primary purpose of your position is to provide nutritional guidance in terms of resident needs, preferences, and individual dietary modifications, in accordance with federal, state and local standard, guidelines and regulations governing our facility and as may be directed by the Director of Dining services to assure that quality nutritional servicesare provided on a daily basis and that the nutritional requirements are coordinated in conjuction with the selective menu process.
Scope of Responsibility
As the Dietetic Techincian you are responsible and accountable to carry out your assigned duties and report directly to the Director of Dining Services
Educational Requirements
Must possess as a minimum, a high school diploma, and two (2) years of additional schooling of certification as a Dietetic Technician.
Experience
A minimum one (1) year experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility or other related medical facility is preferred.
