Special Education Teacher

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a full-time Special Education Teacher with a Colorado CDE Sped Generalist license for a middle school Mod/Severe position.

Responsibilities

• Work in a middle school setting
• Responsible for a caseload of approximately 20 students
• Mod/Severe special education role
• Day shift schedule from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday
• Full-time position with 37.5 hours per week during the school year
• Teach and support middle school students with moderate to severe needs
• Position covers the entire 2025-2026 school year
• No Mod/Severe endorsement is required

Requirements

• Active Colorado CDE Sped Generalist license required
• Experience with Mod/Severe student populations preferred
• Resume required for consideration
• License required if applicable
