Overview:
Novant Health is currently hiring for an Assistant Nurse manager for the ED at Forsyth Medical Center.
- Schedule: Full-Time - 40 Hours - 7:00pm - 7:00am
- Department: Emergency Room (ED)
- Location: Forsyth Medical Center – Winston Salem, NC
- Unit Description: Forsyth Medical Center is a tertiary care facility serving patients from 15 counties. The ED handles a high patient volume, averaging 190 to 240 visits daily, and provides comprehensive care to a diverse patient population, from infants to geriatrics. Common cases include, but are not limited to, cardiac emergencies, respiratory conditions, non-compliant COPD, diabetic crises, and behavioral health concerns.

Qualifications:
- Education:4 Year / Bachelors Degree, required. BSN, preferred. Graduate Degree, preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum of two years of clinical RN experience, preferred.
- Prior demonstrated nursing leadership, preferred.
- Licensure/Certification:
- Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
- NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units, required.
- Unit/Dept Specific Required Certifications.
- Additional Skills Required:Successful completion of generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Ability to successfully complete Leader Education & Training.
