We’re currently seeking an EmergencyCoordinatorto join our busy emergency department. In this vital role, you’ll serve as a key liaison between our clinical staff, client service representatives, and clients, ensuring smooth communication and seamless patient care. If you have veterinary experience (preferably emergency care), exceptional organizational skills, and a compassionate approach to client communication, we want to hear from you!

Anticipated Schedule:

This is a full-time position

Some holidays are required

  • Tuesday: 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM
  • Wednesday: 9:30 AM - 8:00 PM
  • Friday: 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM
  • Saturday: 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM

Compensation:

  • Starting at $22/hr (dependent upon experience)
Requirements

What You’ll Do:

As an EmergencyCoordinator, you’ll be an essential part of the emergency department team, supporting our criticalists, emergency clinicians, technicians, and client service staff in a variety of important tasks. Your role will involve:

  • Assisting with triageand patient intake, ensuring smooth and efficient communication throughout the emergency process
  • Handling client communications, including updates, follow-ups, and providing important information to referring veterinary hospitals
  • Discharging patients, ensuring all instructions and care plans are clearly communicated to pet owners
  • Providing compassionate, clear, and effective communication with clients, helping them navigate the emotional and logistical challenges that come with emergency care
  • Collaborating closely with clinical and administrative teamsto ensure the best possible experience for clients and patients
  • Supporting daily operationsin the emergency department, including new cases, records, and patient flow

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Previous veterinary experience is required, with a preference for emergency care experience
  • Technician knowledge is preferred, but not mandatorywhat matters most is your ability to communicate effectively, stay organized, and provide excellent client service
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills
  • Strong customer serviceabilities, with a compassionate and solution-oriented approach
  • The ability to collaborate with diverse teams and support the needs of both clients and staff
