Experience:
• 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• 6 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.
• Travel experience is required from any number of months.
• Trauma Level 1 experience is required from any number of months
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Arizona license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• COVID booster required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

4 total weekend shifts per 4 weeks, 2 out of 3 major holidays
Floating Requirements Other med/surg/tele areas; travelers are first to float. ICU RNs take ratio of 1:3
Beds 22 private rooms
Common diagnoses/Types of patients: post op, sepsis, pneumonia, COPD, diabetes, infection
Prefer: charge nurse experience; telemetry experience (in case they float to other units within the hospital)
Candidate is required to pass DYS exam PRIOR to accepting. 2 attempts, if failed, DNU for 6 months with CS AZ and Sac Region
All RNs will be expected to complete SIMs Lab for Foley catheter insertion & central line dressing changes, with the exception of NyICU & ED.
Facility holidays: 12/25/2025, 01/01/2025, 11/27/2025. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days
