How you'll contribute
A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) who excels in this role will:
Evaluate and treat patient populations for swallowing, speech-language and therapy needs.
Perform and document initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition.
Design and implement a plan of care which is appropriate to problems identified and involves the patient and family.
Educate and counsel patients and families regarding treatment plans and progress.
Plan and/or assist with patient discharge from therapy services.
Supervise activities of clinical fellows, students, and other support personnel.
What we're looking for:
Applicants must hold aMaster's Degree in Speech Language Pathology. Additional requirements include:
Licensed Speech Therapist; Current licensure with TX Board of Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) within 60 days of hire
