What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead and oversee quality control operations across multiple sand and gravel plants and one stone plant in North Texas.

  • Implement and maintain quality systems to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.

  • Collaborate with operations and technical teams to drive continuous improvement in product quality.

  • Train, mentor, and support quality control personnel to ensure consistent performance and development.

  • Analyze data and generate reports to guide decision-making and maintain product integrity.

What Are We Looking For

  • Strong knowledge of aggregate materials, testing procedures, and quality standards

  • 3 years of work experience in aggregate quality or supervisory experience in a related industry

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and payroll timekeeping systems (Kronos preferred)

  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment with fluctuating schedules and physical demands

Work Environment

This role operates in both office and field settings, including active aggregate production sites. It requires regular travel between plant locations, exposure to varying weather conditions, and adherence to safety protocols in industrial environments.

Physical Demands of the Job

  • Ability to walk, stand, and navigate uneven terrain at plant and quarry sites for extended periods.

  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds of equipment or materials.

  • Frequent exposure to dust, noise, and varying outdoor weather conditions.

  • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hard hats, safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toed boots is required.

  • Occasional climbing of ladders, stairs, or equipment platforms may be necessary.
