Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
• 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Medical Surgical Oncology experience is required with some in the last 24 months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Idaho license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.

Scheduling is done at the management level; For nights they do try to block shifts together, but ask travelers are flexible and fill in schedule.
Weekend Requirement: Yes, where they are needed to fill in our staffing holes
Holiday Requirement: Will be asked to go in the Holiday Rotation
First to float float to ‘like’ units which are within their scope at the Boise, Meridian, and Nampa St. Luke’s campuses

Common diagnoses/Types of patients: BMT, oncology, GYN ONC surgeries, hospice, med/surg
Experience or ‘Must have’ skills: Okay with 1 year of experience in Oncology. For general MS nurses must have 2 years of experience.
Requires BMT or Chemo experience
Additional Notes:
- Would prefer travelers with oncology and/chemo certifications. Would need chemo certifications to administer chemo.
- Will accept MS travelers without Onc/chemo experience, but must have 2 years of experience.
- They do take some higher acuity patients than general MS units.
Scrub Color/Dress Code/Scrubs provided: Any color; No hoods.
