Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• 9 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.
• 3 months of experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Louisiana license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

Additional Details:
Must have at least 9 months of same unit experience in the past 12 months, no exceptions.
Scheduling requirements: 12 hour shifts (7-7), every other weekend, holidays required as well.
Floating policy: All nurses float to other units as needed.
Patient Experience requirements: Hourly rounding, bedside shift report, My Care Boards, AIDET
Must have: Positive attitude, flexibility, dependability, teamwork, self-motivation, good communication and people skills, desire for excellence, accountability, ability to multitask, ability to deal with stressful situations.
Advanced skills needed: Telemetry rhythm interpretation
Procedures performed on unit: PICC line removal, vas cath/temp cath removal
Dress Code: (Required uniform)
Ceil Blue Scrubs
Hospital hygiene/dress code policy must be followed
10 days maximum time off
1 reference from last 12 months (Charge/Lead reference type) - required for submission
Driver’s license required
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
