Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Psychology along with a PEL or Type 73 with school psychology endorsement.
Role Overview:A School Psychologist assists students with academic, social, and emotional well-being and works with students and families to promote student success. The School Psychologist is a critical member of the IEP team and is relied upon to provide insight and guidance to the team regarding student academic and behavioral functioning.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 3 days per week (21 hours)
- Dates: August 27, 2025-June 6, 2026
- Setting: Middle School
Key Responsibilities:
- Administering diagnostic and curriculum-based assessments
- Using intelligence and academic performance testing to determine student diagnoses and recommendations for specialized services
- Observing students in various academic and social settings to gain insight and data into students' overall functioning in school
- Providing consultative psychology services to parents and school staff as described in the IEP
