Our team works together to treat individuals recovering from stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, neurological disorders, orthopedic conditions, amputations, and complex medical conditions. Department / Unit Summary
You will work within a modern inpatient rehabilitation environment, supported by strong leadership and a collaborative interdisciplinary care model. Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver direct and indirect nursing care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation
- Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and implement treatment plans in collaboration with physicians
- Provide patient-centered care in a supportive, respectful, and healing environment
- Coordinate discharge planning and educate patients and families on continued care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including therapists, case managers, and fellow nurses
- Communicate changes in patient condition promptly to appropriate personnel
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN), or Nursing Diploma program
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Pennsylvania
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
- Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (CRRN) preferred
- Minimum six months of Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care or behavioral health setting preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills
