Experience:
• 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience is required from last 6 months.
• 3 months of experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Arizona license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

Must have unit/specialty experience in the past 6 months.
Guaranteed 36 hours per week
Shift notes: 4 weekend shifts/4 week schedule + first to float, could float to sister facility, Mercy Gilbert
Travelers will need to pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to start (WITH 2 MAX ATTEMPTS), within 48 hours of offer. If they fail, they will be made a DNU for 6 months for both CSH AZ and CSH Sac regions.
There is also a pass/fail Sim Lab on day one of orientation. If they fail, they will be made a DNU for 6 months.
Must be able to read strips & due to floating to tele units. Must be able to titrate down only: amio & cardizem
Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts per 4 week period (days - Sat, Sun, nights - Fri, Sat). One major and minor holiday.
Scrub Color: Navy
Floating: Float to MedSurg Tele B2C and B2D
Floor specific orientation: 2 shifts on the floor.
Common diagnosis / Types of patients: 80% Surgical, 20% Oncology. Ortho - JHACO certified knee and hip program. 8-10 elective knee/hips per week. Other - Urological, Abdominal, Whipple, Women’s surgeries (no OBGyn).
