Labor & Employment Associate – Philadelphia
Salary: $260k - $250k
A nationally recognized labor and employment team is seeking a mid-level associate to join its Philadelphia office. The group is known for representing employers in complex workplace litigation, compliance counseling, and labor relations matters.
This is a strong platform for attorneys looking to gain courtroom exposure, handle cutting-edge class action defense, and counsel clients across sectors on proactive employment strategies.
What You’ll Do:
- Defend employers in wage-and-hour, discrimination, harassment, and retaliation lawsuits
- Handle restrictive covenant and trade secret matters, including litigation
- Provide day-to-day advice on FLSA, Davis-Bacon, Equal Pay, and state wage laws
- Counsel clients on union avoidance, collective bargaining, and labor disputes
- Conduct internal investigations and help shape workplace policies
Qualifications:
- 3–6 years of employment law experience, preferably at a large firm or boutique
- Strong litigation background, including federal and state court practice
- Familiarity with wage-and-hour law, class actions, and labor relations
- Excellent writing, communication, and analytical skills
- Pennsylvania Bar admission preferred
