Job Description:
This EV Delivery Project Manager role will support the U.S. bp pulse team by directly managing the execution of EV charging infrastructure projects from pre-construction through launch. This is a hands-on project delivery role, ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys problem-solving, and is excited to help shape the future of mobility.
The successful candidate will work cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders to ensure on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery of EV sites while upholding bp’s commitment to safety and excellence.
Key Accountabilities
- Manage end-to-end delivery of assigned EV charging infrastructure projects across the U.S.
- Coordinate feasibility assessments, technical reviews, and third-party contractor engagement.
- Collaborate with engineering, utility, network, construction, and commercial teams to execute project plans.
- Support the development and refinement of project scope, schedules, budgets, and risk management strategies.
- Drive consistency in reporting, tracking project performance against cost, schedule, and safety critical metrics.
- Provide clear, proactive communication to internal stakeholders regarding project milestones, risks, and progress.
- Ensure all projects meet bp pulse’s HSSE (Health, Safety, Security & Environment) standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts across bp pulse’s U.S. project delivery organization.
Basic Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in project management delivery
- A detailed understanding of the EV Value chain from the technical and infrastructure perspective
- Experience with utility interconnection and upgrade process and requirements
- Direct experience of standards participation, contribution, and set-up, preferably within standardization bodies or industry organizations – must have key process improvement capability
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead simultaneous projects and/or manage teams across geographies
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing simultaneous construction projects and relevant contracts
- Knowledge and understanding of construction management; preferred DCFC charging stations, utility, or renewable energy projects
- Knowledge of Direct Current Fast Charger (DCFC) EV charging technology and thorough understanding of the operation and structures of charging networks and how they are integrated
- Engineering experience is a plus
- Experience in DCFC EV infrastructure, solar or battery storage industries
- PMP Certification

How much do we pay (Base) ($125,000– $150,000) *Note that the pay range listed for this position is a genuinely expected and reasonable estimate of the range of possible base compensation at the time of posting.
This position is eligible for US Benefits – Core. This position offers paid vacation depending on your years of relevant industry experience and will range from 120 – 240 hours of vacation per year for full time employees (60 - 240 hours of vacation per year for part time employees). You will also be eligible for 9 paid holidays per year and 2 personal choice holidays.
