Our client, a leader in technological innovation, is seeking a Workplace Engineer to join their team. As a Workplace Engineer, you will be part of the Workplace Technology Service Desk supporting a diverse range of users. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, a customer-oriented mindset, and excellent communication abilities which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Workplace Engineer
Location: Columbus, OH (Hybrid Schedule Upon Completion of Training)
Pay Range: $30-35 per hour
Duration: 12-month contract (Possible conversion)
What's the Job
- Provide Level 1 support by managing the phone queue and assisting users with their technical issues.
- Write and maintain knowledge articles to enhance the team's resources and improve service delivery.
- Respond to chat requests and resolve deskside support incidents efficiently.
- Utilize ITIL concepts to handle tickets and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Participate in side projects and contribute to process improvements within the team.
What's Needed
- Two years of enterprise IT support experience or relevant certifications/schooling demonstrating a passion for technology.
- Ability to troubleshoot device peripherals and Windows OS error logs effectively.
- Positive customer-focused demeanor while interacting with users.
- Experience with PXE booting and imaging computers is a plus.
- Basic understanding of AI Bot Prompting and the ability to independently research solutions.
