BRIEF DESCRIPTION
The Associate National Project Directorsupports the Senior National Project Director in securing and managing large-scale and complex restoration projects across the country. This role involves administrative, operational, and technical assistance with sales activities, estimating, and project coordination to ensure exceptional service delivery, profitable outcomes, and timely project execution. The ANPD is expected to travel nationally as needed and develop industry knowledge and leadership capacity while contributing to BluSky's national project success.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales Support
· Assist in managing and tracking sales leads generated by the SNPD and the BluSky sales team.
· Participate in initial client engagements, presentations, and contract support.
· Help prepare client-facing materials such as proposals, presentations, and communications.
· Coordinate logistics and materials for trade shows, industry events, and networking functions.
Estimating Assistance
· Conduct preliminary site inspections and compile essential project information.
· Assist in developing accurate estimates, proposals, and time-and-materials (T&M) packages.
· Collaborate with internal estimating teams to ensure timely proposal submissions.
· Learn and apply BluSky's estimating systems and processes under guidance from the SNPD.
Project Coordination & Administration
· Facilitate the transfer of project information to the Project Manager and Project Accountant.
· Assist in collecting subcontractor bids and documentation.
· Track and organize project documentation including contracts, change orders, and communications.
· Monitor and report on job progress, scope adherence, and project timelines.
· Coordinate weekly updates and ensure consistent communication with clients and internal teams.
· Support the SNPD in managing project logistics and documentation for national deployments.
Field Support & National Deployment
· Travel to job sites to provide on-the-ground support for major projects and catastrophe (CAT) events.
· Serve as a liaison between the SNPD, clients, subcontractors, and the BluSky team during CAT response.
· Assist with onboarding subcontractors and vendors to job sites.
QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES
· Bachelor's degree in construction management, business, engineering, or related field preferred.
· 1--3 years of experience in construction, project coordination, sales support, or a similar role.
· Strong interest in building a career in restoration sales and project management.
· Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
· Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Xactimate, Salesforce, or other estimating/CRM tools is a plus.
· Ability to travel frequently, sometimes on short notice, including to disaster recovery zones.
· A proactive, learning-oriented mindset with a strong sense of accountability.
WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS
· Fast-paced environment requiring agility and responsiveness.
· Regular travel required (75%)
· Occasional physical labor and site visits under varying environmental conditions.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
This role has no direct reports.
