Summary
Lee Memorial Hospital is seeking a qualified LPN, EMT or Paramedic to fill their full time night shift Transfer Center Access Specialist position. Exceptional phone and computer skills are preferred.
Support position as a member of the Transfer Center team in coordination with the Registered Nurse. This position will assist in the communication and coordination of patient entry, transfers within and outside of LMHS. This position will interact with hospital staff, physicians, and ambulance dispatchers. This position must be committed to delivering the highest quality service with an exceptional customer experience. This team member must be comfortable in a fast paced environment and possess the ability to prioritize, be extremely detailed oriented and flexible. In addition, they will exhibit a strong desire and willingness to learn and grow with the department.
Requirements
Educational Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent by certification or licensure.
Experience Requirements
Previous customer relations and experience in the healthcare environment. For EMT applicants, 2 years of ambulance experience required.
