Position Summary: The Clinical Care Supervisor oversees clinical and administrative support services to the resident care team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitors and ensures the Resident Care Department has necessary office and clinical supplies for daily operations and orders supplies when necessary
  • Oversee the Clinical Care Coordinator to ensure staffing schedule in conjunction with Nursing Leadership for inputs into business systems
  • Schedules staff training programs and assists with preparing training documents and presentations
  • Support new staff assignment sheets alongside the Clinical Care Coordinator
  • Schedules meetings including staff and family meetings (vendors and community care partners)
  • Assists in interview and hiring process of Resident Care staff in conjunction with Nursing Leadership: reviews applications, schedules phone screens, coordinates interviews, sets up shadowing, obtains references, assembles paperwork and completes Employee Status Change Form, etc.
  • Work closely with Chief Engineering and Clinical Care Coordinator to ensure pendants are working and keep records on a monthly basis
  • Supports payroll with the daily reviewing of timesheets and entering missed punch forms/vacation requests
  • Assists with completion of payroll for Resident Services team bi-weekly
  • Oversee Clinical Care Coordinator on staff performance management by consolidating time and attendance data
  • Other duties as assigned and/or needed including orientation support, training new Clinical Coordinators and other staff
  • Manage the Incontinence order for existing and new residents
  • Oversee the Clinical Care Coordinator to ensure laundry schedule is completed accurately
  • Oversee the Clinical Care Coordinator to ensure Sling and UKG are completed accurately

Education/Experience/Licensure/Certification:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience working in a medical office or clinical setting preferred
  • Medical Assistant, Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide certification preferred
  • Experience working with seniors
  • Ability to maintain positive working relationships with residents, their families, peers and other staff members
  • Excellent computer skills required, with a comprehensive and working knowledge of Microsoft Office and with electronic health records
  • Free of communicable diseases
  • Highly organized with efficient time management skills
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills
