Job Description
We are seeking a Product Support Specialist to join our team in a full-time position. This role involves conducting in-depth analysis of organizational processes to ensure their efficiency and effectiveness. The position is located onsite.
What You'll Do
Learn, understand, and follow Federal and State laws, including Medicaid laws, rules, regulations, standards, and State Policies related to public assistance programs
Adhere to all CAI and State Security requirements
Access computer inquiry systems to obtain necessary verifications
Obtain Medicaid renewals from the client system and distribute work among the team daily
Transfer cases to the appropriate pool accordingly
Communicate with clients and transfer their calls appropriately
Collaborate with clients to securely collect application documents via digital files (pdf, jpg, etc.)
Index verifications as needed
Track monthly metrics and present findings to leadership
Document case management details using the eligibility system
Attend one-on-one meetings and staff meetings to stay informed about processes and procedures
Perform additional case management responsibilities as needed
What You'll Need
High school diploma or equivalent
One year of data entry experience
One year of customer service experience
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Outstanding organizational skills with strong attention to detail
Ability to analyze financial calculations
Problem-solving skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Fluency in English
Responsible and independent, with a desire to make a difference in the community in a team-oriented environment
Reliable transportation to/from the office; dependable and punctual
Availability to work a minimum of one Saturday per month, if necessary
Knowledge of Medicaid or Public Programs of Assistance eligibility
Strong written and bilingual communication skills
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
The pay range for this position is $18 - $22 per hour (USD). Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this roleincludesmedical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role may also be entitled to paid sick leave as provided by applicable law
