Pharmacy Technician

Location: San Francisco, CA (Onsite-Castro area)
Monday-Friday 9:30a-6:00pm
Pay Rate: 22.99 per hour.
Start Date: 7/7/2025
Employment Type: CONTRACT Role only: Not a Direct Hire.
Position Summary:
As a Pharmacy Technician in a growing segment of healthcare, specialty pharmacy, you will work with specialized and complex therapies that are delivered to patients.
Duties:
- Communication with patients, prescribers, and colleagues. Frequent phone conversations, emails, faxes.
- Fulfillment of prescriptions, packaging medications for shipment, processing copays, researching financial assistance.
- Complete order entry and refills under the supervision of the pharmacist.
- Inventory management and storage, complete appropriate documentation, such as labels, log sheets and reports.
- Participate in on call rotation as indicated by staffing and business needs.
Minimum Job Requirements:
1 year of Pharmacy Technician experience in a mail order pharmacy, specialty orders or retail pharmacy.
Preferred Requirements:
Basic computer skills including word processing and spreadsheet utilization.
Excellent customer service skills (written and verbal) a must.
Specialty Pharmacy experience is a plus.
Education:
Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required.
CA state pharmacy technician licensure is required.
