POSITION SUMMARY:
The Senior Analyst - Clinical Technology & Systems implements strategies focused on the adoption of specific Electronic Health Records (EHRs). Support point-of care technology processes by physicians, clinicians, and others at Lifepoint facilities by actively collaborating with internal departments within the Health Support Center (HSC) to assure clinical processes and workflows are supported by the EHR and related reporting needs.

Development and maintenance of overall principles for safe design and use of order sets, with a focus on workflow design, and evidence-based practices to improve overall patient outcomes through enhanced technology and workflow process improvements.
Engage with hospitals as they prepare for Promoting Interoperability attestation to ensure the processes and system functionality are working effectively and/or to identify areas that require refinement.
Identify, escalate, and resolve issues as they occur to ensure appropriate resolutions to issues and openly communicate with the various stakeholders.
Assist with the development and implementation of necessary system training and support of end users.
Provide input and guidance to identify system deficiencies and analyze system problems and solutions.
Participate in coordinating installation of application changes, including maintenance/patches and software upgrades required to support core EHR applications.
Identify and communicate system impactrelated to application changes and enhancements.
Provide regular status report of installation activity that includes post-installation reviews, installations in-progress and future projects.
Assist the facilities' Clinical Informatics resources with system set-up, customizations, testing, as needed or requested by the facility.
Evaluate new facilities for application and implementation of Lifepoint system standards.
Maintain responsibility for report data validation and effectively communicate data output with the business owner; answer questions as needed.
Extract data from EHR for Lifepoint Quality and Operations initiatives as well as Regulatory compliance and provide data to Enterprise for review by the business owners.

Education:
Experience:
5+ years clinical system technology design, hands on, and implementation experience, or any equivalent combination of education, experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
