Experience:
• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• 12 months of Medical Surgical Oncology experience is required with some in the last 24 months.
• Travel experience is preferred from any number of months.
• Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Mississippi license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed.

Additional Details:
Candidates who have 2+ years of experience, 3 days or less RTO and who can start on date posted in the position can be auto-offered.
Shift: 6:45p-7:08a - Schedule rotation is 3:1:3 but Hcp will be scheduled based upon need.
No block scheduling. No self-scheduling.
Float as needed between 4 Central (16 beds) and 4 West (28 beds).
48 bed unit.
Nurse: Patient ratio - 1:6-7 (1:8-9 if LPN present)
Patient care modality: General med surg, weakness, COPD, respiratory failure.
Non-titratable drips, IV insertions, Foley insertions.
Vent types: Baxter IV Pump, Telemetry, Kangaroo Feeding Pumps, Omnicell med cabinet.
Requirements:
- Minimum 18 months of acute care experience required.
- Strongly prefer 400+bed or level 2 trauma exp.
- All RNs will be required to take and pass a “pre assignment Basic and Advanced Dysrhythmia (rhythm Strip) test and RNs should be prepared, passing score is 80%.
Must not have worked perm/per diem at NMMC in the last 12 months.
Scrub color provided in UD.
