Summary

JOB SUMMARY:
The Patient Financial Services Manager overseas the entire process of issuing invoices, tracking payments, and proactively recovering outstanding balances. Processes include creating accurate invoices, managing accounts receivable, and following up on overdue payments. The Billing and Collections Manager oversees the performance and daily operations of Accounts Receivable Associates working in multiple departments including Commercial Invoice Follow up, Government Invoice Follow up and Billing Specialists. Manages both the unbilled and billed accounts receivables (AR) for a combined total of 1.2 Million claims totaling $500 Million. This role is responsible for a cash goal of $160 Million. Ensures timely and accurate completion of electronic and paper claim submission, resolution of claim rejections and edits and completion of account follow-up. Has oversight of Artificial Intelligence (AI)/BOT automation workflows and productivity, coordinating with reimbursement and IT for resolution of disruptive processes. Tracks and analyzes Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and ensures success in meeting goals and Service Level Agreements (SLA). Is the primary liaison between PDI and the LBH physician enterprise, with direct responsibility for customer satisfaction of assigned practices. Prepares for and conducts billing meetings with physicians and practice leadership, using data analysis and reporting to explain billing performance. Pinpoints and anticipates questions where practices are progressing toward or are falling short of goals
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree preferred
5 to 7 years of experience
