About the Role
We’re looking for a reliable and experienced HVAC Lead Installer to join our growing team. This position is critical in ensuring the successful installation of HVAC systems in residential and light commercial settings. What You’ll Do
- Lead the installation of HVAC systems, including air conditioners, heat pumps, furnaces, air handlers, ductwork, and ventilation components
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and job layouts to ensure proper installation and code compliance
- Oversee and mentor installation team members to ensure quality, safety, and efficiency on every job
- Perform start-ups and system testing to verify proper performance before handoff to customer or service team
- Communicate effectively with homeowners and builders during installs, answering questions and explaining system operation when needed
- Coordinate with the office, warehouse, and sales teams to ensure all materials, equipment, and permits are in place before and during the job
- Document installation details and complete required forms and checklists in company software
- Maintain clean and organized job sites and company vehicles
- Follow all safety procedures and ensure team compliance with jobsite safety protocols
What You’ll Bring
- 3-5+ years of HVAC installation experience (residential/light commercial)
- Ability to independently manage a complete system install from start to finish
- Solid understanding of airflow, duct design, refrigerant line set installation, and electrical hook-up
- EPA Certification (Type II or Universal) required
- NATE Certification or HVAC Installer Certification (preferred but not required)
- Proficiency with installation tools, sheet metal work, brazing, and refrigerant charging
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Clean and valid Florida Driver’s License
- Excellent communication and team leadership abilities
- Must be physically capable of lifting up to 75 lbs, working in attics, and performing overhead tasks
