The Float Pool at Sinai Hospital isa designated supplemental staffing pool designed to be used by nursing areas when unit staffing is insufficient to meet patient care needs. We currently have openings for full-time and part-time, in which all are eligible to participate in the clinical ladderas well as committees throughout the hospital.

JOB SUMMARY:
As a member of the patient care team, the RNprovides safe, age-appropriate patient care and functions as an advisor and resource for patients and their families.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Telemetry experience required
- 2+ years of experience in 2+ departments required
- Basic professional knowledge; equivalent to a Bachelor's degree; working knowledge of theory and practice within a specialized field
- Maryland Registered Nurse License
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification and ACLS
PREFERRED:
- Current Certification - NRP for WICU, M/B L&D
- PALS for ED, PACU, PEDS, PICU, & CDCR
Float Pool staff will follow a 6-week schedule anda weekend obligation of 4shifts,3major holidays and 2 difficult-to-staff daysrequired. All staff are eligible for shift incentives once flex obligations have been met.
