Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

• Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

• Trauma Level 1 experience is preferred from any number of months

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

MS Neuro

BJC policy: Every other weekend required.

RNs only - Clinicians who obtained RN degree outside of the U.S. and do not hold MO/IL/Compact license require extended licensing and compliance timeframe.

No medical marijuana cards accepted.

Can sign for 36 or 48 hours per week

Guaranteed Hours: 3 shifts per 13 weeks.

Special Requirements: - General Med Surg Experience - would prefer Level I/Teaching experience, but not required - Patient Diagnoses: General Neurological and neuromuscular disorders, MS, ALS, GBS, Stroke, Epilepsy, infections, tumors etc - Special Procedures/Unit Details: LP, Lumbar drains, Foley, IV Starts, G-Tubes, tracheostomies, - Special Equipment: Bladder Ultrasound

Scrub: Navy

Trauma Level II Experience: Required

Teaching Hospital Experience: Preferred

Patient Age Groups: Adults

Daily Census: 24

RTO must be on the submittal

No RTO the first week of an assignment.

Background Policy to be noted prior to submission

Permanent employees at must wait 1 year before returning to any BJC facility as a traveler.

All Standard Travelers (reside outside of a 75 mile radius) can stay for an 18 month period. Must take a 3 month break after 18 months.

NIH only accepted through AHA, Apex, or NIHSS websites.
