Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Experience:
• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• 34 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.
• 3 months of travel experience is preferred from any number of months.
• Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:
Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
Rotating holidays.
Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity. will be required to float to different units within the OSU organization as needed
3 Years Of Medsurg Experience Required
Skills Required: Iv Start, Tele
Teaching Hospital Experience: Preferred
Weekend Coverage: Every Other
Number of Weekend Shifts Per Contract: 4 weekend shifts per 4 week schedule
Patient Age Groups: Adults, Geriatrics
Patient Diagnoses: All system issues in geriatric population
Special Procedures/Unit Details: Heparin and insulin drips, peritoneal dialysis
Special Equipment: ergonomic equipment. bladder scanner. EKG
RTO required with submission, must be built into contract
Former employees are eligible for a travel assignment once they have been away from the facility for 6 months or more
Current employees are ineligible to be hired as a traveler at any Ohio State University hospital location
