Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM
Experience:
• 18 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.
• Travel experience is required from any number of months.
• Experience with Cerner is required from any number of months.
• Trauma Level 2 experience is preferred from any number of months
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Illinois license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
Shift: 4x12 or 3x12
Avg. Daily Census: 22 patients.

Clinician float within scope to meet facility needs, Will float to other units within scope as needed

Skills/Experience: Telemetry- remote monitoring, Use of Rapid Response Teams. Required Gastrointestinal Case
Skills/Experience: Colostomy Care, Feeding tube care and management. Required Genitourinary/Renal Case
Skills/Experience: Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Renal failure. Required IV therapy/Phlebotomy
Skills/Experience: Blood Product Administration, Central line blood draw, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Starting IVs. Required Medication
Skills/Experience: Heparin, Insulin, PCA. Required Neurological/Psychiatric Case
Skills/Experience: Spinal cord injuries. Ortho trauma experience required. Experience with surgical drains required. Required Respiratory Case
Skills/Experience: CPAP/BiPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Oral suctioning, Oxygen face masks, Portable Oxygen tank, Pre/Post Thoracic Surgery, Tracheostomy Management.
Required Professional Knowledge and Skills: Isolation Precautions, Wound Care/Wound Vac
Scrub Color: Any solid color

Patient Diagnoses: 2G, Bariatric weight loss surgery, Plastic surgeries (flaps, finger reattachments, etc.), General level burn wound management

Special Equipment: bariatric graded lifts (hoyer and sit-to-stand)
SSN required at time of submittal
Candidate Must Work 2 Out Of 3 Major Holidays.
Background Policy to be noted prior to submission so we can seek approval prior to offer
Any PERM or PRN employee of Memorial must be away for 12 months before applying as a traveler
