Experience:
• 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• 12 months of Telemetry Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.
• Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
• BSN completion preferred
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Virginia license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Declinations not accepted.
• COVID booster required after submission. Declinations not accepted.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

Additional Details:
Must pass EKG Exam at Orientation (Study Guide Available in Simplify Library)
Must be proficient with lab draws and IVs required
Every other weekend and every other major holiday required
Patient Population: Cardiac telemetry. We are tele level, do have med surg pts that require tele monitoring, do not take titratable drips, but some cardiac drips.
Scrubs: Navy blue, white, or any combination of the two colors.
All listed ratios are subject to change based on staffing availability at the facility. Ratios are never guaranteed but are what the unit typically attempts to achieve with normal staffing.
6 months RN experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred
Critical Care Course preferred
7 days maximum time off
2 references from last 2 years (Any reference type) - required for submission
