ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Staffing Manager to join our team in the Herndon, VA. In this role, you will be eager to lead comprehensive staffing operations for a significant program, fostering strong partnerships with program leadership and external stakeholders. This role is integral to the Program Management Office (PMO), serving as a strategic partner who ensures the organization is equipped with the right human capital to meet its goals.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Lead and manage all staffing operations for ManTech and teammate candidates, ensuring seamless fulfillment of staffing requests for over 400 FTEs.
- Oversee the full lifecycle of job requisitions, from creation to closure, working with hiring managers to define job requirements, responsibilities, and qualifications, and creating compelling job descriptions.
- Ensure efficient and compliant hiring, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
- Review resumes and performing in-depth interviews to validate candidate qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
- Liaise with recruiters, finance team, security, human resources, and other corporate resources as needed.
- Maintain and ensure the absolute accuracy and integrity of the program's master Excel database, serving as the definitive source of truth for all staffing data.
- Lead internal transfer processes for program personnel, coordinating seamless transitions and maintaining accurate records.
- Local travel may be required between customer buildings.
- Core hours will need to be covered from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or a related field with 4+ years of progressive experience in high-volume staffing operations or talent acquisition supporting a customer operational environment. Alternatively, 8+ years of combined education and relevant work experience, including at least 4 years in high-volume staffing operations or talent acquisition within a customer operational environment.
- Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management, tracking, and reporting, with proven ability to maintain data integrity for critical databases. Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Exceptional organizational skills with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders including recruiters, hiring managers, finance, security, and human resources.
- Proven experience in full lifecycle requisition management, including drafting job descriptions and interviewing.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating professionalism and collaboration in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional certification such as PHR (Professional in Human Resources), SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources), SHRM-CP (SHRM Certified Professional), SHRM-SCP (SHRM Senior Certified Professional), RMCP (Resource Management Certification Professional) or CSP (Certified Staffing Professional).
- Experience with ServiceNow ITSM & ITMB.
- Proficiency with data visualization tools (Power BI) for advanced staffing analytics and reporting.
Security Clearance Requirements:
- Must have a current/active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position at least 50% of the time. Constantly operate a computer, phone, and other office equipment for extended periods of time.
