JOB DESCRIPTION:
In accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations, the LPN is responsible for attending to patients nursing needs in the office setting and over the phone under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Provider. The LPN is responsible for the care and treatment of patients according to the standards of nursing practice. He/she will demonstrate a pleasant disposition to patients, families, and coworkers. Patient confidentiality will be maintained at all times.

This position is responsible for reviewing incoming referrals, preparing patient medical records for surgical procedures, and assisting with the optimization of the endoscopy schedule.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Current LPN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont is required.

Wound care certification preferred; however, it must be obtained within one year of hire.


CPR Certification.
Mental and physical health sufficient to meet the demands of the position.
Professional appearance.
