Novant Health Ortho & Sports Medicine Cotswold is seeking a Registered Nurse. The Registered Nurse serves as a leader of the healthcare team at Novant Health by establishing an authentic personalized relationship with the patient and their chosen support system, collaborating with physicians and other team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate an individualized plan of care that promotes optimal health or supports a peaceful death. The Registered Nurse utilizes best scientific evidence and compassion to assist the patient in navigating their health journey. The Registered Nurse accepts responsibility, authority, and accountability for management and provision of care in accordance with the current policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has beeninactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
- Experience:One year relevant experience, preferred.
- Licensure/Certification:Current RN license in appropriate state, required. ACLS, PALS, BAT and DOT, preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates refined assessment skills to collaboratively discover the patient's story. Integrating the following elements: subjective data, objective data, physical picture, psychosocial components, personal preferences and norms, and learning needs and preferences. Must be able to utilize an ongoing process to interpret data and recognize patterns and trends to determine both immediate and future care needs..
- Evaluation: Continuously assesses patient's progress toward goals and outcomes. Seeks input from patient and their chosen support system regarding progress toward goals. Analyzes and modifies plan of care with patient and interdisciplinary team as indicated to achieve desired outcomes.
- Dialogues with the patient/chosen support system to identify what is important to them and incorporate his/her preferences and norms into the individualized care plan. Engages the interdisciplinary care team in planning individualized care. Identifies relevant resources based on necessity and availability. Determines immediate needs and establishes realistic short term and long term goals based on desired outcomes. Prioritizes interventions to advance the patient toward optimal health or support a peaceful death. Constantly considers ongoing modifications of care plan based on patient's needs, capabilities, and condition.
