Overview:

This MRI Tech position is eligible for a sign-on bonus of $15,000.

This position is 36 hours/week, 6:30am-6:00pm, rotating one week on and one week off, days are Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, no call, no holidays.

The MR Technologist I will assist physicians in the performance of diagnostic and / or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and safely operating the MR equipment in order to obtain diagnostic scans. Qualifications:
  • Education: 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred. Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program or MR Program, required.
  • Experience:Minimum of one year of experience in MR, preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification:
    • NH Medical Center-Certified and registered by ARRT in MR - RT(R)(MR) or RT(MR) within 6 months of hire, required.
    • NH Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility - Certified and Registered within 6 Months of hire in ARRT RT(R)(MR), required.
    • Hospital Outpatient Department-Certified and registered by ARRT in MR - RT(R)(MR) or RT(MR), required.
    • IV Credentialed, required.
    • Refer to the Life Support Training Policy NH-HR-3096 for life support training requirement
    • Applicable state license, required.
  • Additional Skills (required):Thorough knowledge of MRI imaging equipment, Analytical ability and basic computer skills. Has the ability to interpret information to identify each patient’s requirements for care relative to his/her age specific needs. Good communication skills.
