4-General Telemetry-Monitoring is a dynamic med/surg unit dedicated to providing comprehensive care to medical patients. With 41 beds and a typical patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:5 and can flex to 1:6 on occasion, our unit prioritizes teamwork and has a growing Unit Shared Governance Committee. You will have the opportunity to care for patients with diverse conditions, including CHF, hypertension, COPD, diabetes, and respiratory diseases, with an average patient stay of 7-10 days.
Our team includes an ADT nurse, who works out-of-coverage and as staffing allows, along with various support roles to ensure a strong patient focus. We have earned Center of Excellence awards and maintain top patient experience scores. 4 General Telemetry had a Team Engagement score for 2024 of 93%. Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
- Current valid North Carolina nursing license or Multi-State/Compact required.
- One-year relevant experience, preferred.
