In this on-site leadership role, you will work closely with front-line staff and clinical leaders to implement, monitor, and enhance our infection prevention strategies. Reporting to the Director of Infection Control, Patient Safety & Clinical Compliance, you will be a key driver of quality improvement and regulatory readiness across our organization. Minimum Qualifications:
- Education:
- Graduate of an accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing program required.
- Master’s degree in Public Health, Nursing, Epidemiology or related field preferred.
- Three years experience in Infection Prevention required.
- Acute healthcare experience required.
- Licensure and/or Certification:
- Current license as a registered nurse required.
- Current CIC certification, or obtained within 6 months of hire.
- Current APIC membership preferred.
- BLS required, or must be obtained within 3 months of hire.
- Must be able to maintain a database for infection surveillance data.
- Demonstrated proficiency with data analysis and performance improvement.
- Strong leadership, mentorship and teaching skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and exemplary conflict resolution skill set
- Ability to work independently and facilitate teams

- Presentation skills
- Proven problem solving, process improvement and project management skills
- Able to read, write, and communicate in English
- Computer skills appropriate to position
