Experience:
• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• 18 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.
• 3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
• 12 months of Trauma Level 2 facility is required from the last 2 years
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a New Hampshire license or compact license (required for submission).
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.

Recent experience at a level 1 trauma center is required.
No block scheduling.
Must have telemetry experience.
Unit that cares primarily for trauma patients and acute care surgical patients. This unit does have 2 negative pressure rooms that can serve our COVID population. This is a very busy unit where rehabilitating and supporting our patients needs is our highest priority. The most common diagnosis on the unit; Traumas including spinal cord injuries (new quadriplegics and paraplegics), traumatic brain injuries, orthopedic injuries occurring as a result of a trauma. Acute Care Surgical diagnosis: hernia repair, small bowel obstructions, appendectomy, cholecystectomy. Travelers need to have experience on a fast pace medical surgical unit preferably with Level I Trauma center experience but serval years at a Level II Trauma center is acceptable.
Required Experience:
- Chest tubes
- Tubes
- Drips such as Diltiazem, heparin, Lasix, insulin, or amiodarone
- Lines/Tubes/drains for post-surgical patients
- Trachs/Laryngectomies
- Complex wounds
- Central Lines- care and maintenance and blood draws
7 days maximum time off
2 references from any number of months (Any reference type) - required for submission
