Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Experience:
• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience is required from last 12 months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Maine license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <90 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Medical declinations accepted.

RNs only - Need at least a years worth of acute care experience within the past two years.
RNs only - One year of unit experience must be within the last two years
Maine Medical Center requires all candidates to have at least 1 year of Facility Trauma Level 1 experience to be considered.
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36.
Weekend Hours: 36 (unless otherwise noted): mostly every other weekend.
Float Requirements: To any med/surg tele unit.
Must Have Skills/Experience: telemetry, dilt gtts, amiodarone gtts, insulin, Lasix and bumex gtts. Chest tubes, vac dressings, cardiac catherizations, pacemakers.
Preferred Skillset/Experience: Stroke patients.
Any unacceptable attire: Hoodies, tight fitting clothing. Follow MMC Dress Code , Hair Up, No Fragrance, Smoke Free, Plugged Piercings/Gauges, No V-Necks.
Type of Patients on Unit: Medical telemetry. Ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes.
7 days maximum time off
1 reference from last 2 years (Charge/Lead reference type) - required for submission
1 reference from last 2 years (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission
