Responsibilities – Automotive Service Technician:
- Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on a wide range of vehicle system including engines, transmission, HVAC, electrical, and drivability issues
- Utilize factory scan tools and diagnostic equipment to acurately identify vehicle concerns
- Independently complete complex repair orders efficiently and accurately with minimal supervision
- Conduct comprehensive multi-point inspections and clearly communicate findings and repair recommendations
- Collaborate with service advisors and parts departments to ensure smooth workflow and customer satisfaction
- Stay current with manufacturer updates, TSBs, and continuing education/certification programs
- Maintain high standards for cleanliness, organization, and safety in the shop
- Mentor junior technicians and help foster a team-oriented work environment
- Follow all manufacturer guidelines and safety regulations, including proper hazardous material handling
Qualifications – Automotive Service Technician:
- 2+ years of hands-on experience as a professional automotive technician; B or A-level experience strongly preferred
- Manufacturer certifications or ASE certifications highly preferred
- Experience with Nissan, Toyota, or Hyundai vehicles is a big plus
- Proven ability to diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues independently
- Proficient with OEM diagnostic systems and service software
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship
- Positive attitude and strong communication skills; values collaboration and mentoring
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- High school diploma or GED equivalent; trade school certification or associate degree in automotive technology is a plus
