Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM
Experience:
• 27 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.
• Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Skills REQ:
Work Settings: MS/Tele, Telemetry, Cardiac Telemetry.
- Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry -on the unit monitoring, Use of Rapid Response Teams.
- Gastrointestinal: Feeding tube care and management. Genitourinary/Renal: Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Renal failure.
- IV therapy/Phlebotomy: Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Starting IVs. MEDICATIONS: Heparin Protocols Manage Cardiac drips- no titration. Neurological/Psychiatric: CVA, Pre/Post neurosurgery.
- Plastics: Surgical drains. Respiratory: High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of ABGs, Nasal Cannula, Oxygen face masks, Non-invasive airway management.
- Professional Topics and Skills: Isolation Precautions, Wound Care/Wound Vac.
Skills Preferred:
Work Settings: ER Holding, Neuro Stepdown, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown.
- IV therapy/Phlebotomy: Accessing Ports.
- MEDICATIONS: Manage Vasoactive drips-no titration, PCA.
- Neurological/Psychiatric: Traumatic Brain injury.
- Orthopedics: Ortho trauma, Total Joint Replacements.
- Respiratory: Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleur-evac, External CPAP/BIPAP, Tracheostomy Management.

Wide variety: Intermediate level of care, stroke, heart failure, SI, ETOH w/d; respiratory failure, pneumonia, GIB, syncope, TIA, falls, COVID, Flu, Cdiff; CBI; post-surgical patients needing higher level of care monitoring; renal failure, cardiac gtts, heparin.
