Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Experience:
• 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.
• Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.
• Trauma Level 1 experience is preferred from any number of months
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <75 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:
Medical Specialties is 57 max capacity unit servicing internal medicine patients with a wide range of medical diagnosis. Room amenities range from video monitoring capability, sitter rooms (up to 4 and 2 patients), ceiling lifts, and bariatric rooms. charge nurse & supervisor on every shift.
Required to float to MS and MS/Tele.
Work 50% of holidays that fall within contract. RTO not granted for holidays but will work with traveler on which holidays they want to work to meet their 50% requirement.

Return Travelers: If a traveler takes a break after an assignment and returns within 18 months, re- orientation is not required.
Floating is required and mandatory for all units. All travelers will be expected to float to any area at UMHS as a Patient Observer (PTOB) – “Sitter.”
Photo ID card is required.
