Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Experience:
• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.
• Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
• Trauma Level 1 experience is preferred from any number of months
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >70 miles from facility to be submitted.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

Special Procedures/Unit:
Your role as a trauma nurse includes:
i. Coordinating resources (multiple orders, consulting services, etc.)
ii. Perform serial assessments and identify changes.
iii. Analyze trends in your patient’s assessment
iv. Determining priorities
v. Communication
vi. Documentation
1. You should document your assessment, any interventions done, re-assessment after interventions, any significant events, and communication with the trauma team
All clinicians cannot work past 1 year as a traveler. A 6-month break must be taken in order to return as a traveler
ACLS - RQI certifications are acceptable.
