Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

• 22 months of Cardiac Cath Lab experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Washington license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

RTO must be listed at time of submission.

All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years

If you have a multistate/compact nursing license, you will be required to complete a one time 6 hour suicide prevention training according to the WA state regulations. (Nursing positions only).

Perm candidates of any OTHER providence facility (NON-SWEDISH) are eligible for a travel contract if they have been separated for at least 3 months.

Patient Diagnosis: - 40% Inpatient / 60% Outpatient - Heart block/CAD/CHF/Tachycardia

Special Procedure: - Cardioversion / Defibrillation - LVAD - Obtain 12 Lead EKG - Sheath Removal - Post-Op, Pre-Op - EP Lab, Interventional, Pre/Post, Procedural

Required: Cath Lab Experience, IABP, Impella, IV Start, Patient Recovery

Required Certification: NCLA

Call: Yes, STEMI call 9 -11 shifts/ 6-week schedule

Weekend coverage: 3 weekend shifts

Scrubs: provided

All units that have on- call requirements require a 30-minute response time. It is outlined as a standard requirement in the unit description. All Swedish facilities with units that necessitate on-call coverage have a response time of 30 min from when the traveler is called in.

Patient Age Groups: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics

Transportation: Clinician must have reliable transportation; travel pairs require separate vehicles.

Scheduling: Facility scheduling needs must be met; special requests (e.g., block scheduling, late starts) will not be accommodated.

BLS, ACLS - Must be AHA (Instructor, Provider, or RQI) or “Heart&Stroke” certification from Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation

5 days maximum time off

2 references from last 3 years (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission
