ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Project Manager to join our team in Crane, Indiana. This is an onsite position.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and forward-thinking member to join our team and be at the forefront of innovation. As a core member, you will assist in the research & design, engineering, integration, testing, training, logistics, laboratory research, field engineering, and acquisition and operations analysis in support of a variety of Navy and Marine Corps programs and projects with a focus on defensive cyber technologies, mission assurance, and resilience capabilities for the tactical network environment. Your effort will go towards dramatically increasing the warfighter’s effectiveness. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Lead and manage all phases of the project lifecycle (initiation, planning, execution, monitoring & controlling, closure) in accordance with DoD 5000 series, relevant DoD Instructions, and other applicable federal regulations (e.g., FAR, DFARS), ensure project deliverables meet technical specifications, performance requirements and operational needs for DoD systems, and drive project execution, doing all required to keep projects on track.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related communications with internal and external DoD stakeholders, including military commands, government agencies, prime contractors, and sub-contractors, and facilitate communication with senior leadership, managing expectations and building consensus among diverse groups.
- Proactively identify, analyze, and mitigate project risks unique to the DoD environment, develop and execute comprehensive risk management plans, and identify project opportunities to enhance performance.
- Oversee government contracting processes, manage project budgets and allocate and manage project resources including personnel, equipment and facilities.
- Ensure compliance and security by ensuring strict adherence to all DoD security regulations, including cybersecurity requirements (e.g., RMF, NIST 800-171) and information assurance policies, and maintain compliance with relevant acquisition policies, environmental regulations and export control laws (e.g., ITAR, EAR).
- Lead, mentor, and motivate integrated project teams (IPTs) comprised of military, civilian, and contractor personnel, and foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree with 2+ years with project management experience, OR Associates degree with 4+ years’ experience OR high school with 6+ years’ experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.
- Demonstrated experience with Agile processes, iterative design and continuous improvement.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters or PhD degree
- PMP certification
- JIRA
Clearance Requirements:
- Must have a current/active DoD Secret clearance.
Physical Requirements:
- The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
- Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
